The new ceiling for FHA home buyers willing to give 3.5% down has been increased to $765,600.

This new increase gives first time home buyers more purchasing power when looking for their dream home.

Also, loans up to the new ceiling are no longer priced as jumbo loans giving home buyers better rates and additional monthly savings.

Even better, the ceiling for the CalHFA down payment assistance program has also been increased to $765,000 throughout the State of California increasing the number of homes that can be bought receiving up to 3.5% in the form of down payment assistance and an additional 3% to help them pay some of the closing cost.
